🔍 Unconfirmed leak, not official

A 4-player MARVEL Cosmic Invasion arcade cabinet, made with Adrenaline Amusements, has reportedly entered testing at select Dave & Buster's locations in the US. There is no official announcement from Marvel, Dotemu or Dave & Buster's yet: what exists are photos and a video from players at two venues.

The essentials in 30 seconds

  • What it is: a giant 4-player MARVEL Cosmic Invasion arcade machine.
  • Where it was seen: Dave & Buster's in Tampa, Florida, and Arcadia, California.
  • Who built it: per the source, Adrenaline Amusements (its logo is visible on the screen in one of the photos).
  • Status: testing at select locations, with no rollout date or official confirmation.

What we know about the cabinet

The report comes from @mmmmmmmmiller, who shared the cabinet with community photos and a video (the video is by PlushTimeWins on YouTube and the Arcadia photo is from Reddit user u/SpeedyPaws). The post has over 3,600 views and 67 likes on X.

The images show a two-screen machine: a top display with one panel per player prompting them to swipe a card to join the next fight, and a large screen below with the action. There are four joystick-and-button stations and the illuminated MARVEL Cosmic Invasion logo on top.

What Cosmic Invasion is

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a beat 'em up from Dotemu and Tribute Games for PC and consoles, with up to 4-player local or online co-op. Dotemu itself pitched it as a game that "would look right at home in an arcade cabinet", so seeing a real machine makes sense.

To be clear, we found no official announcement of this machine, neither in Marvel or Dotemu press materials nor in media coverage. That is why we treat it as a leak until someone confirms it.

If you live near Tampa or Arcadia, this is your best shot at trying it. There is no confirmation yet that it is coming to other cities.

Fer's take

This has nothing to do with Marvel Rivals, but it does with Marvel, and I think it's a great idea to put this game, which is already arcade-style, in a real arcade. Playing with 4 people on a huge screen is another level.

If they put it near you, you have to go. The game is great, I've already played it: it's hard, has lots of variety, plenty of skins and many characters. I struggled to get through levels and it does take strategy, but it's perfect for hanging out with friends.

I'm lucky to be near one of these venues and I'm definitely going to visit it and tell you what I think. For now, congrats to Marvel for making a game you can play live: we need more of this, more new arcades.
